Friday, May 5th
5:00 - 6:00 Arrival
6:00 Dinner 7:30 Evening session (Nate Horne) "Robbed of Rest" - The promise of "rest" is central to the Gospel message. Most of us struggle to enjoy rest though. If we're honest, lurking deep down inside is a sense of drivenness, weariness, anxiousness... and a longing for the deep soul rest that Jesus promises. In this session, we'll look at the promise of rest in a Biblical and practical way to understand what's truly available to us through the Gospel. We'll also understand how to identify those things that are "robbing" us of Gospel rest. Finally, we'll focus in on how we can begin to remove the "robbers of rest" from our lives so that we can begin to do life from a place of true rest in Christ. This session will be conversational, practical, Biblical, fun, and experiential. We'll unpack some frameworks for understanding rest and its robbers and begin to journey deeper into that rest together! 8:15 Special worship time 8:45 Fire Pit Hangout and Free Time *Refreshments will be available throughout the evening. |

In this session, we'll look at some practical, experiential, fun ways to cultivate a "lifestyle of resting" in Jesus. How can we do our daily work from a place of rest? How can we abide in Christ's rest in the midst of stressful times? David's passion is to shepherd others into the enjoyment of the the presence of Christ. This will be a conversational, joy-filled time of looking at new approaches to enjoying the rest and presence of Christ in our lives! 12:00 Lunch 1:00 - 5:00 Rest Time We'll take this time to respond to the invitations of the Lord and enjoy His promise of rest.
