As a 501(c)3 non profit ministry, we depend on the prayers and support of Gospel partners like you! As we recently looked back at the Lord's faithfulness over the past 3 years, we were stunned by the fruit He has been bringing. From 2021 - 2023 there were: 355 local, underserved campers sponsored... 174 Valley Haven Summer Camp campers who have placed faith in Jesus for salvation... Over 50 follow groups have been held with campers... 355 Bibles have been sent home... Just last year, 39 campers made public professions of their faith through baptism at camp... Over 175 year-round retreats were held for local, churches and ministries... Over 43 Summer Staffers were hired and mentored in their faith and Christian leadership as they poured out the gospel to local campers. Numbers are never ever the main thing. But they do give us cause to celebrate and give thanks to Jesus for the generosity of those who've partnered with Valley Haven for the sake of the Gospel. So... from the bottom of our hearts... thank you for praying and supporting Valley Haven. We are so grateful!

VALLEY HAVEN SUMMER CAMP (SPONSOR A CHILD FOR JUST $250):

Valley Haven Summer Camps are 100% free, adventure based, Gospel Summer Camps for children who are under-served.
Our non profit works with local community partners, including local law enforcement and other agencies, to identify children who need investment opportunities and who would otherwise not be able to afford them.
In 2024, VH will sponsor 120 youth from our area to attend Valley Haven Summer Camp!
$250 is the cost to sponsor a child for a whole week of Gospel centered summer camp.

A $250 donation sends a child to camp for a whole week. That's a whole week of relational investment, adventure, laughter, and most importantly... Jesus. $250 can change the course of a child's whole life.

GENERAL FUND DONATIONS:

Valley Haven is a non profit camp and retreat ministry consisting of 175 acres, 19 structures and buildings, multiple trails, a large gymnasium, game fields, a 200 gallon spring fed pool and full waterfront activities.
We are committed to keeping the retreat property in excellent shape so that our campers and guests can rest, play and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Donations of ANY amount to our general fund help us maintain this beautiful non profit ministry through construction, maintenance, grounds care, and upkeep of necessary machinery.

In 2021, in property maintenance alone, we capped a bridge to prevent flood damage, repaired an eroding embankment in the creek with large equipment, replaced an AC unit in the Lodge, replaced the convection oven in the kitchen, replaced several roofs at the camp due to storm damage, and started construction to add bathrooms to our camp gym at the request of the county. Your investment helps us continue to provide a safe, beautiful place of Gospel ministry here in Catawba County...

Just outside of Hickory, NC, Valley Haven Camp and Retreat Center is a short drive from most major cities in NC, including Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, Boone, Chapel Hill and Raleigh. The camp is just over an hour north of South Carolina as well.
