CAMPER SPONSORSHIP
Each year, Valley Haven sponsors 120 under served youth to attend a gospel centered, life changing week of camp. Campers come from the Catawba Valley region. The close proximity of our campers to the camp allows us to continue intentional gospel growth through follow up meetings year round. Since 2021, at least 600 campers have been sponsored and nearly 70 follow up group meetings have taken place. VHSC has over a 90% camper return rate each year as well which means initial gospel growth is accompanied by years of discipleship and relational growth in the years that follow before campers graduate high school. A REASON TO CELEBRATE
Numbers aren't the main thing, but they do tell a story. And that story is worth celebrating! In 2024, our Executive Director, Nate Horne, gave a recap of some of the growth we've seen at Valley Haven Summer Camps since relaunching them in 2021. We've seen even more growth since that time and continue to celebrate all that God is doing through VHSC for His glory!
