AN UNDER-SERVED CHILD TO COME TO CAMP

#1 AN INVESTMENT...
IN KIDS WHO NEED IT MOST: In 2024, Valley Haven will sponsor 120 under-served youth to attend a life changing week of camp. Under-served means that due to life circumstances, they are in need of special investment and unlikely to receive that investment without sponsorship. Youth are selected for sponsorship through partnerships with local law enforcement & other community agencies. |

#2 AN INVESTMENT...
IN ETERNITY: Our passion is to see young lives transformed by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Last Summer, Valley Haven sponsored 80 under-served youth. The Lord brought 30 young people to faith in Christ through camp! Nearly 40 campers from the past 3 Summers chose to make public professions of faith at camp baptism services surrounded by family and friends in the community! |

#3 AN INVESTMENT... THAT CONTINUES YEAR ROUND:
The majority of our campers participate in weekly/monthly follow up groups conducted by Valley Haven. This ensures that campers feel cared about and invested in all year long... not just one week out of the Summer. |

#4 AN INVESTMENT... THAT GOES WHERE YOU INTENDED:
100% of your tax deductible gift goes to sponsor local, under-served youth - no admin fees, etc. Because of our non-profit (501(c)3) status, PayPal ensures that your entire donation goes where you want it - kids in need. |

#5 AN INVESTMENT...
IN LOCAL GOSPEL LEADERS: All of our camp counselors are mature young adults (ages 18-24) who come from local churches in the Catawba Valley area. This allows us to partner with local churches to develop healthy, Gospel saturated leaders in our community. It also means that our campers have a local support system of people who still care about them even after camp ends. |

#6 AN INVESTMENT... IN LOCAL COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS:
Valley Haven partners with several community resources to help develop healthy support systems around our campers. This includes multiple local church bodies, School Resource Officers from the Sheriff's Department who come out to build relationships with campers, as well as local non-profits who specialize in developing under-served youth into future leaders. |

#7 AN INVESTMENT...
IN PRACTICAL NEEDS: Campers who attend Valley Haven Summer Camp receive several items to take care of their practical needs including sleeping bags, pillows, Bibles, toothbrushes, toothpaste, t-shirts, water bottles, etc. |

#8 AN INVESTMENT... IN THE HEALTH OF THE CATAWBA VALLEY AREA:
An investment in these youth is an investment in the Gospel vitality of the Catawba Valley Region as well as an investment in the overall strength, health, and future of this community! |
