About:

Picture
Valley Haven Summer Camps:
  • In 2025 Valley Haven will sponsor 4 camp sessions and a total of 120 young people (grades 5-12) to attend a life changing week of Gospel-centered, adventure camp.
  • All campers who attend receive full sponsorship for the week of camp. Valley Haven Summer Camp is designed to invest in under-served youth from the Catawba Valley area of NC. Under-served means that without a sponsorship, the camper would likely be unable attend camp and receive this valuable investment.
  • Children are selected for sponsorships through camp partnerships with community resources.
  • We believe that the Lord has strategically placed us in the Catawba Valley area and therefore, we seek to identify children in need of sponsorship in this area.
  • All campers receive a week at camp full of great food, memorable games and adventure activities, bonding with local peers, investment from local camp counselors, and above all, they hear the life changing news of the Gospel.

Funding:
  • Valley Haven, in partnership with generous financial support from many local businesses, churches and donors throughout our community, provides full scholarships for every young person who attends this week long camp. We believe this is one of the most important investments that our community could possibly make - pouring the Gospel into the lives of local youth that they might trust Jesus Christ in every area of their lives. To learn more about providing a sponsorship for a child, visit our SUPPORT page.

Lodging:

Each of our campers will lodge in one of our cabins. We have 2 separate, large cabins - one for boys and one for girls. Each cabin has two floors, two bathrooms, and a total of 30 bunks. Each cabin has a total of 4 private showers with changing stalls for our campers as well.  All facilities are heated and cooled and include a walk out deck that overlooks Camp Creek.
