Nate Horne: Speaker, Retreat Leader

Nate has a passion for and background in pastoral care and is a graduate of Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary with a Master's degree in Divinity.
In 2010, Nate burned out in ministry and went through a period of years in the valley with Jesus. During that period, the Lord gave him a heart for "rest" and a desire to help others do life out of a place of the rest and approval that the Gospel provides.
Nate currently serves as the Ministry Coordinator at Valley Haven Camp and Retreat Center. He and Joni have been married for 12 years and enjoy romping through the creeks and countryside at Valley Haven with their 2 amazing, rambunctious young boys.

Elizabeth Brown: Care Ministry

Elizabeth enjoys seeing the Lord work in the normal, day in and day out things of life. She loves watching Jesus bring fruit out of tending to the simple, ordinary things that the world often overlooks. Over the past few years, she has been struck by the paradoxical joy and life that is found when we lay down the identities that our culture longs to mold us into in exchange for simpler, Kingdom-focused identities rooted in walking with Jesus moment by moment.
Elizabeth has served as a teaching leader with Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) and has co-led local MOPS groups. Currently, the most challenging and rewarding thing in her life is home-schooling and raising her children.
Elizabeth and David have been married for over a decade and have 5 lovely daughters that they enjoy laughing daily with at their home in Matthews, NC.
